Obama Supports Gay Marriage...

I don't know if he's just saying it to get more support, considering we're so close to elections and he wants a second term. He could just be playing us. But maybe he's telling the truth. And if he is, he's the first president to just come out and say that he believes gay people have as much of a right to be together as straight people.
Thank you, Obama.
I hope one day in the future, we'll look back at the early 2000s and say, "People were opposed to gay marriage? I can't believe that was ever an issue."
To naysayers, consider this... About a hundred years ago, if you had gone around saying, "In the future, a white person can marry a black person and there's absolutely nothing wrong with it," you'd get nasty looks and no one would believe that. Well, things changed. And let's hope they keep changing, because love is love, whether white, black, gay, straight, bisexual, Christian, atheist... We're all humans, and all deserve equality. <3

As for Amendment 1... I'll get over it. Besides, it won't last long. I'll be keeping updated about it, but I'm sure it'll be repealed soon.
